YesCraft Resources & Client Setup

YesCraft is designed to feel like vanilla Minecraft with added systems and polish. The core resource pack is handled by ItemsAdder automatically; shaders and client mods are optional but recommended for the full experience.

YesCraft Core Resource Pack (ItemsAdder)

Required (Auto-delivered)
Managed by ItemsAdder Minecraft 1.21.11 Server-provided

The main resource pack for YesCraft is automatically provided by ItemsAdder when you join the server. It includes all custom textures, models, icons, and UI elements used by YesCraft’s plugins and features.

When you first connect, Minecraft will prompt you to allow the server resource pack. Click “Yes”. If you declined previously, you can re-enable it in the server list by editing the YesCraft entry and toggling Server Resource Packs to “Enabled”.

Solas Shaders (Recommended)

Optional Visual
Latest Solas release Works great with 1.21.x + Iris Shader pack

Solas Shaders provide a soft, atmospheric, and colored light look that pairs nicely with YesCraft’s custom builds and horror realms, without being overly heavy or blinding.

Recommended Client Setup (Fabric + Iris)

Recommended

YesCraft is fully playable in pure vanilla, but for smoother FPS and shader support, this client setup is recommended:

  • Sodium – Major FPS improvements and graphics optimizations.
  • Lithium – Server-side-style logic optimizations on the client.

Recommended Hardware & Performance Tips

Guidance
General guideline For YesCraft & shaders Text-only

For a smooth YesCraft experience (especially with shaders or mods), a system with 8–16GB of RAM is recommended. Avoid allocating all of it to Minecraft; 4–6GB to the game is usually enough if your PC has 8–16GB total.

If you experience lag, try disabling shaders, lowering render distance, or temporarily removing extra resource packs. The core ItemsAdder pack and server-side plugins are optimized to keep things playable.

YesCraft Know-How & Reference Guide

Start here if you’re new to YesCraft N.S.C.P. – learn how money, lives, world points, roles, rules, and dimensions all connect. Everything below is tailored to how this server actually runs.

Getting Started on YesCraft

First join & basics

1. Launch the correct version.
Make sure you are running Minecraft Java 1.21.11. YesCraft is built on Paper 1.21.11 and plays like a vanilla survival world with custom systems.

2. Add the YesCraft server.
From the main menu, go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter:

  • For Java
    Server Name: YesCraft N.S.C.P.
    Server Address: yescraft.net
  • For Bedrock
    Server Name: YesCraft N.S.C.P.
    Server Address: 24.198.181.134
    Server Port: 25500

3. Enable the server resource pack.
On first join, the YesCraft resource pack is provided automatically through ItemsAdder. When prompted, click “Yes” to allow the server pack. If you disabled it earlier, edit the YesCraft entry in your server list and set Server Resource Packs: Enabled.

4. Arrive at groundZero.
When you join for the first time, you’ll appear at the world point groundZero – the main spawn area for YesCraft. There is a community base here you can use to survive your first night: shelter, basic utilities, and a safe spot to get your bearings.

5. Learn how money works.
Every player can earn money by:

  • Killing mobs – the higher the mob’s health, the more money you gain on kill.
  • Using /sell while holding an item with value.

Money is used for many systems on YesCraft: warping with WorldPoints, buying items in the block shop, teleporting to graves, and other utilities. Treat it as the core currency for progression.

💡 If your world looks wrong, textures are missing, or things appear purple/black, double-check that the server resource pack is enabled and reload it from Options → Resource Packs.

Important Commands on YesCraft

Core systems

These are the main commands you’ll use to access YesCraft’s custom systems. Exact GUI layouts may change over time, but the commands remain the same.

  • /qlink — Opens the Quick Links GUI, giving you fast access to commonly-used functions on the server (warps, guides, utilities, and more).
  • /wps — Opens Newt’s WorldPoints GUI, used to teleport to static player-set world points across the server.
  • /wps <pointName> — Quickly warp to a specific world point if you know its name (for example: /wps groundZero).
  • /addlife — If you have enough money and a golden apple, this command will permanently add a heart to your max health. This is part of the YesCraft life system.
  • /daily — Opens the daily rewards GUI, allowing you to claim your daily reward and log in streak bonuses.
  • /quests — Opens the quests GUI where you can start new quests, claim rewards, and track quest progress.
  • /sell — While holding a sellable item, this will convert it into money based on its configured value.
📌 If you’re ever unsure where to go next, open /qlink or /wps – they act as your central navigation hubs for the server.

Dimensions & Special Realms

Exploration & horror

YesCraft runs the standard Overworld, Nether, and End, but also includes custom realms and mechanics powered by Newt’s plugins, especially the Insomnia and Relics systems.

  • Standard survival experience with claims, bases, and shared projects.
  • WorldPoints such as groundZero, aceybasey, and more live here.
  • Most players build, trade, and explore in this dimension.
  • Use for fast travel, late-game materials, and specific farm builds.
  • Check in-game rules or staff for any nether-specific restrictions.
  • Relics, a custom plugin, manages skulk world and deep dark portal mechanics.
  • Expect unique progression, loot, and rules around deep dark portals and related areas.
  • Follow any posted instructions or guides in-game to avoid getting stuck or losing valuable items.
  • Powered by the Insomnia plugin – a custom horror realm created by Newt.
  • Expect different rules, atmosphere, and mechanics compared to the main survival world.
  • Use this area for events, horror experiences, and specialized content that’s distinct from normal gameplay.
🧪 Always read on-screen prompts or Discord announcements before entering special realms like Insomnia or deep dark portal areas – they can be harder and riskier than normal survival.

Roles & Staff on YesCraft

Who does what

YesCraft uses a clear role system so you always know who to go to for help and what each player can do.

MEMBER MOD STAFF OWNER – newt_00

MEMBER – This is the default role for players. Members have the capabilities of a non-opped survival user, plus access to custom systems like /wps, /daily, /quests, and more, as configured on YesCraft.

MOD / STAFF – Members with the MOD or STAFF role are treated as admins. They:

  • Protect the server from griefing and abuse.
  • Help fix errors, bugs, and issues reported by players.
  • Handle complaints, disputes, and general support.

OWNER – newt_00 – The owner and creator of YesCraft. This role has operator-level capabilities and maintains the custom plugins, block shop, horror realm, and other backend systems.

If something is broken, confusing, or feels off, your first step should be to contact a MOD/STAFF member or reach out via the YesCraft Discord. They can escalate anything critical to newt_00.

Notable Custom Plugins

Developed by Newt

YesCraft runs several custom plugins developed by Newt specifically for this server. These plugins power most of the unique systems you’ll interact with.

  • CoswayUtils – Handles many core utility functions: custom weapons and tools, command processing, the block shop system, and admin utilities.
  • YCSUtils – Manages additional server-side utilities and the player jailing system used when a player kills a mob that’s marked as an “innocent”.
  • Insomnia – The plugin powering the custom horror realm. Used to create atmospheric, horror-themed experiences and mechanics.
  • WorldPoints – Custom system for managing the WorldPoints teleportation network used with /wps to warp to set locations.
  • Lifeline – Drives the add life system. Combined with the /addlife command, it lets players trade money and a golden apple for extra max hearts.
  • Relics – Handles the skulk world and deep dark portal mechanics, controlling how you access and interact with those areas.
🛠️ When reporting bugs, mentioning which plugin or system you were interacting with (CoswayUtils, WorldPoints, Lifeline, etc.) helps staff and Newt track issues down much faster.

Rules & Expectations

Respect the realm

YesCraft is meant to be a fun, horror-tinted survival experience where everyone can build, explore, and experiment without ruining it for others. Keep these rules in mind:

  1. Be respectful – no harassment, hate speech, or targeted toxicity.
  2. No cheating, hacked clients, or exploiting bugs for unfair advantage.
  3. No griefing or stealing in protected/clearly-owned areas.
  4. Keep chat reasonably appropriate and follow any channel-specific guidelines.
  5. Follow directions from MOD/STAFF and OWNER – they help keep the server stable and fair.
📜 For any extended or detailed rule documents, staff announcements, or policy updates, refer to the pinned messages in the YesCraft Discord server.

Notable Landmarks & WorldPoints

Travel using /wps

All major landmarks on YesCraft are accessible via the WorldPoints system. Use /wps to open the GUI or /wps <name> to jump directly if you know the point’s name.

  • groundZero – Main server spawn and community base. Your first login location, with shelter and shared resources.
  • stronghold – Warp here to access the stronghold and End portal area for late-game progression.
  • aceybasey – Resource gathering commune base; a shared hub where players collect and process materials together.
  • ender farm – Ender pearl farm and XP source. Expect faster progression and resource gain here.
  • cozy corner – A commune base town; a relaxed, community-focused spot to hang out, build, and socialize.
🧭 If you’re not sure where to set up your first base, visit cozy corner or explore around aceybasey for inspiration and community support.
